Unfortunately, due to surf conditions being too small for fair and competitive heats, the 2025 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships will not go ahead as planned this weekend (Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th May) at Fistral Beach.
We know there’s been a lot of excitement building around this huge selection event, and making this call is never easy. The forecasted swell simply isn’t sufficient to run the planned shortboard divisions, and we have to prioritise the quality of the event and the experience for our surfers.
We appreciate the understanding and patience of everyone involved. As event organisers, we are absolutely devastated to have 2 weekends planned and 2 forecasts of minimal conditions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SURFERS:
All athletes who were confirmed to compete will receive a refund for the entry fee (not including LiveHeats registration fee).
For those athletes aiming for a place to compete for Team England at Euros/Worlds from this event, the selection policy will be updated as required within 48 hours.
New Date Coming Soon
We’re now in the process of fully reorganising the English National Surfing Championships and aiming to reschedule the event in 2025. Once we’ve locked in the new dates, a fresh event format will be released, and registration will open as a new Event.
Please note: All previous entries will not carry over to the new event. If you had already registered, you’ll need to re-register once the new date is announced.
We’ll give everyone plenty of notice before registration opens again – so keep an eye on your emails, WhatsApp, and our social channels for updates.

For live contest updates, add Events Manager Lauren to your contacts at 07486 327415 and send her a WhatsApp message with your name to join the broadcast list. Once the heat draws and competitor schedules are finalised, they’ll be shared via the broadcast list. Live scoring will also be available on Liveheats – the link will be shared once it’s live.
