After a fantastic 2024 Muscle Food English Para Surfing Open at The Wave, we are excited for the year ahead for Team England Para.
With Andy Banks joining the program as Head Coach earlier this year, training sessions for the squad will be taking place monthly. Alongside these, an online program of workshops will launch, to give the squad a regular opportunity to come together, and advance their skills in areas such as psychology, breathwork, and nutrition.
The Team is led by Phil Williams, Team Manager, who is now busy preparing for the run up to the 2024 ISA World Para Surfing Championships. The biggest worldwide gathering for para surfers will take place Sunday 3rd November – Saturday 9th November, in Huntington Beach, California.
Whilst our program is unfunded, our management team and coaches strive to deliver the best for our elite para-athletes, and next generation of talent coming on the scene.
We are pleased to announce to all athletes and interested parties that wildcard applications are now open to Team England Para.
