The first step in your journey is to take your surf instructor theory; choose from either a 2-day classroom course or learn at your own pace remotely on our interactive online learning platform. Once this is complete you embark on your practical training with your chosen Surfing England Trainer Assessor. The Surf Instructor Recreation award is a level 1 equivalent course and has wide international recognition.
