It’s official — the 2026 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships are ON for the U18 boys & girls and U16 divisions boys & girls. In what is shaping up to be an unmissable day of performance surfing showcasing England’s top athletes.
This will be the second half of our English National competition that we ran back in April, where we cut our weekend short due to a low-pressure system creating huge swell along the South West coast. This Saturday is currently looking excellent with little to no wind, meaning the 4ft swell due in is likely to be clean and great for competition.
We’re expecting big performances, heavy waves, and an incredible display of talent as the country’s best athletes rise to the occasion and all in the forecasted glorious sunshine.
We’d love for spectators to come down to Fistral Beach, feel the energy, and experience the buzz firsthand — this is English surfing at its absolute peak. We are anticipating an early start to action on Saturday, keep an eye on our social media for updates.
We have been gifted a window of swell, sunshine and little wind – the conditions are going to be great and the surfers are all set to deliver another masterclass!
Era Adventures will be on hand throughout the event, so if you need assistance or first aid, please notify a lifeguard or contest official right away.
Stay close to the action
For spectators and travelling surfers, being steps from the sea is all part of the experience. Our headline event sponsor Caravan and Motorhome Club offer a choice of coastal Club campsites near the event – perfect for visitors when it comes to waking up just minutes from the surf. Facilities at these sites include hot showers, spacious pitches for all types of leisure vehicles, plus practical wash-down areas for sandy kit.

- Nearby, Treamble Valley UK Club Campsite offers a peaceful woodland setting, just a short drive from the surf.

- St Agnes Beacon UK Club Campsite and Godrevy Park UK Club Campsite are ideally located for catching the championship action.
For many surfers a vehicle with roof tent, campervan or motorhome provides the ultimate surf base – giving them the freedom to follow the forecast, chase the best waves and unwind by the ocean after a day in the surf.
