2026 ENGLISH NATIONAL SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS
We’re delighted to confirm that our event roster is now complete, with surfers qualifying through the Junior Surf Series (JSS) alongside our successful wildcard surfers.
We’re looking forward to bringing together England’s best young surfers for what promises to be a fantastic day of competition.
There will also be surf sessions running between the competition heats, giving other keen surfers the opportunity to get in the water and enjoy some time surfing at The Wave.
Alongside the surfing, there will be fun activations and activities for all the family taking place throughout the day. We’d love to see you there and enjoying the action!

This is a highly prestigious shortboard event on the English surfing calendar, featuring qualified surfers in the divisions of:
- U14 Boys and Girls
- U12 Boys and Girls

By accepting a place at the event, all surfers and parents or guardians agree to the event format. Please note that policies may be updated where required.
BONUS CONTEST – KING & QUEEN OF THE BARREL
Alongside the Junior Nationals, we’re excited to introduce a fun additional contest for English-eligible surfers aged 14 and under – King & Queen of the Barrel!
The contest will take place after the Nationals heats have been completed (from 5pm), using the Croyde Barrel setting. It’s just £15, heaps of waves and fun, get involved.

THE WAVE – SURF SESSION DISCOUNT
We’ve teamed up with The Wave to offer Surfing England members a 10% discount on off peak surf sessions.

Athletes wishing to visit The Wave before the Championships to practise the settings can book sessions directly through The Wave Bristol.
