Surfing England is seeking enthusiastic and committed volunteers to help deliver the 2026 English Para Surfing Open at Fistral Beach on Saturday 11th July (with Sunday 12th July as a backup date).
This event showcases outstanding Para surfers from across the UK and Internationally, coming together for an exciting day of competition and skill. Our volunteers are at the core of the event, helping to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where athletes can perform with confidence.
Whether you’re a qualified surf coach or lifeguard, or simply a keen supporter of surfing who wants to give something back, we’d be delighted to have you involved.

GENERAL VOLUNTEER INFO
Volunteer Training – A short briefing will be given on the morning of the contest. Please note, we will not be running a full training session for this years’ contest to volunteers at the beach. Dependent on volunteer experience and need for training, we may run an online training session prior to the contest start date.
FOOD PROVIDED
We will be providing lunch for all volunteers. Please state any dietary requirements in the volunteer google form.
Please ensure you bring your own breakfast/ come fuelled ready for a fun and busy day.

Volunteers will be confirmed by Wednesday 1st July at 17:00, and we will be aiming to welcome as many of you as possible to join us! We always welcome people to come down and watch the contest too.
