Event Call: 2024 korev lager English Interclub Surfing Championships to take place at Porthtowan Beach, Cornwall – POSTPONED
Due to small surf conditions, we regret to announce that the 2024 Korev Lager English Interclub Surfing Championships has been postponed to the backup dates of 5th-6th October.
The decision to postpone the Interclub Championships was made after careful consideration by event organisers and officials. Despite meticulous planning and preparation, we feel the current wave forecast does not meet the necessary standards required for a fair and competitive surfing competition. We want our adult and Junior competitors to have the best chance at showing their scoring potential during the contest. Unfortunately the surf conditions this weekend will not give that opportunity. We will be keeping a close eye on the surf forecast in the run up to the backup dates of 5th 6th October, in the hope for bigger and more contestable waves.
The call for the backup date being called ON/ POSTPONED will be made by Midday Thursday 3rd October at the latest.
We appreciate the understanding and patience of everyone involved. We are fully committed to delivering an exceptional event.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SURFERS:
All surfers who have confirmed places to compete will have these places automatically reallocated to the 5th – 6th October.
