2024 korev Lager English Interclub Surfing Championships to take place at new and exciting location, Porthtowan Beach, Cornwall
Announcement: 2024 Korev Lager English Interclub Surfing Championships
Surfing England is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting one of our headline events at a brand-new location, much anticipated by the surfing community. Mark your calendars for the 2024 korev lager English Interclub Surfing Championships. Taking place on the 7th and 8th of September (backup dates 5th – 6th October) at Porthtowan Beach, Cornwall.
This highly competitive contest will see surf clubs from across England go head-to-head at Porthtowan Beach in the ultimate surf club showdown. Expect fierce rivalries to ignite and friendships, both new and old, to be formed. This event is a highlight of the surfing calendar, as clubs compete for championship titles across open, women, and junior divisions. Surfers will battle hard to gain points for their team totals. These will contribute to who will be crowned the 2024 korev lager English Interclub champions, a prestige and hotly contested title.
Division Information:
- OPEN – Teams up to 6 people consisting of any age/gender (£25 per entrant/£150 per team)
- WOMEN – Teams up to 4 people consisting of any age but only female gender (£25 per entrant/£100 per team)
- JUNIOR – Teams of up to 4 people consisting of any gender but must be 18 years of age or under on 31st December 2024 (£20 per entrant/£80 per team)
A full team consists of 14 surfers in total.
If your club does not have a full team, we will accept just an Open team for example. We will however be prioritising full teams if we are oversubscribed. If your club enters more than one team, for example an A team and B team, we will prioritise your A team if we are oversubscribed.
Surfers may only represent one surf club (team, e.g. Woolacombe Boardriders A). But can represent their club across multiple divisions e.g. A Junior or Women surfer can also surf for their Open team.
