We are recruiting!
As Surfing England continues to grow and evolve we need to ensure we have the right people on our board to guide the organisation forwards. We are seeking people who will bring fresh perspectives, different backgrounds and experiences to our board.
We already have a great team at board level and we’re now looking to recruit a new chair to help guide us through the next stage of our growth. We are also seeking two new board directors where we have a particular interest in hearing from people with strong commercial experience.
Chair of the Board
We are looking for an independent chair to lead the board and help steer the organisation forward. We’re at an exciting point in the sports growth with fresh Sport England system partner recognition and funding alongside huge growth in surfing with artificial wave pools coming to cities across the country.
To be independent, it means you won’t be affiliated to a particular surf club or surf school or have close links to athletes on the talent pathway. You may be surfer or you might not, but you will be passionate about getting people involved in sport.

Board Directors
We are seeking two new directors to join the board. We are actively encouraging applications from people who are involved within the surfing community and those who might be coming from other sports and industries and can bring fresh perspectives and viewpoints to the team.
We are particularly interested in those who can bring commercial and fund raising experience to the team.
