This upcoming weekend promises to be exciting as we gear up for the 2024 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships. We are amped to call the event ON, starting Friday 12th – Sunday 14th April at Fistral Beach. Spectators are warmly welcomed to come and check out the surfing action.
Divisions running are all shortboard. Competing are the prestige Men’s and Women’s Open, and top junior action from U18s and U16s.
With a storm lashing the coast into today, we are stoked to see a window of lighter winds, and chunky swell, setting up a great arena to see England’s best surfers battling for a Champion title.
As swell is expected to be large, it’s time to start considering your choice of shortboards. Additionally, ensure your equipment undergoes a thorough safety check for any issues with leashes, dings, and other potential hazards. Onsite throughout all contest days will be CG Safety Cover, so in the case of any emergency or first aid, please alert one of the lifeguards ASAP. If you need any help at any stage, please speak to any contest official.
