We are amped to announce we return to Bristol this Autumn to deliver one of our headline events, and one that is much anticipated for the surfing community. This is the 2023 korev lager English Interclub Surfing Championships, taking place 7-8th October at The Wave, Bristol, England’s iconic inland surf lake.
The contest will see surf clubs from across England coming together to compete on advanced settings on the lake, in the ultimate surf club showdown. Rivalries ignited, friendships new and old formed, this event is a highlight of the calendar.
The surfing will kick off from 12pm on Saturday, and run until 6pm, where there’ll then be an evening of music and celebrations at The Wave, supported by korev lager. Sunday morning we’ll be hitting the water from 8am, wrapping up by 2pm, and straight into a presentation to see who’s got those podium places!
We’ll be staying at The Camp at The Wave; it’s so close you can hear the surf. The camp costs £35 for a dorm bunk, or £205 to book a whole tent for a night which can sleep up to 8 (including sofa bed). For a night, it’s the perfect affordable option to book out a tent and spend an evening with friends post a day’s competing!

Thanks also to The Wave whose partnership to Surfing England enables us to access the lake and run this event. We are unbelievably excited to head to Bristol to run one of our favourite events in the calendar year.
Spectators will be warmly welcomed throughout the whole weekend at The Wave. Come along, soak up the action, and mingle with some of the countries best established and upcoming talent.

Entry is only permitted to Surfing England Affiliated clubs, please visit New Surf Club – Surfing England to join or email Lenka on lenka@surfingengland.org to find out further information.
As part of Affiliation to Surfing England, membership includes insurance for all club activity, on a yearly basis. This means whenever you come together for surfs, related activity such as a BBQ, yoga, strength & conditioning session, etc. the club has cover should there be a claim made against a club.
