Team England SUP place 7th at EuroSUP, with U18s Annabel Page & Will Keetley making podiums!

This August saw the return of EuroSUP! It was a historic European Championships, and we are still stoked on Team England’s high-quality performance across the five competition disciplines; SUP Surf, SUP Sprint, SUP Long Distance, SUP Technical Race, and the final team relay.

It was Team England’s largest SUP team to date, with 10 athletes travelling over to Denmark to take part.

With more than 200 athletes and 150 volunteers from 16 nations, the EUROSUP2022 in Hvide Sande, Denmark, was also the biggest European Championships to date and was the first year to include U18 categories.

A huge congratulations to the athletes reaching a final and gaining medals were Annabel Page 3^rd in U18 Girls SUP Surfing and Will Keetley 4^th in U18 Boys SUP Sprint.

Team England fought hard to come 7^th in the overall standings, behind strong forces, France, Spain, and Italy. The comradery and spirit amongst the team has been inspiring to those back at home and reflected in the team’s stellar competition results. For many this was their first time competing internationally, we look forward to seeing what these athletes are capable of in the future!
