Surfing England are elated to kick off the 2022 Events Season with a showcase of surfing from the UK’s top Groms. This will be the 2022 Rip Curl Grom Search, the ultimate search for the brightest surfing talent we have on tap from our Island waters.
The Contest will take place on Fistral Beach, Newquay, on the 9th – 10th April (with a backup of 23rd – 24th April).
The divisions running will be:
SHORTBOARD
- Under 12 Girls & Boys (born in 2010 or later)
- Under 14 Girls & Boys (born in 2008/2009)
- Under 16 Girls & Boys (born in 2006/2007)

Entry costs £15 per surfer and will open on Wednesday 2nd March at 17.00pm via liveheats, visit: https://www.liveheats.com/surfingengland
We anticipate high demand for this Event and therefore cannot guarantee every surfer will have a place to compete. There is essential information every athlete and parent/guardian must read ahead of entering. By registering for the contest, you accept the terms of this format.
