korev lager and Surfing England bring back legendary English Interclub Surfing Championships
We are elated to announce the 2021 korev Lager English Interclub Surfing Championships, scheduled to run on 16th – 17th October at Perranporth Beach, Cornwall, where we will set up adjacent to the epic Watering Hole.
Surf Clubs of England, we invite you all to join us on the beach for a weekend of surfing and socialising, comradery and rivalry, as we look to crown fresh Club Champions and reignite the club scene after a tough 18 months with coronavirus restrictions.
We’ve selected Perranporth as the perfect location for the return of the Interclubs – with its large sandy beach allowing plenty space for a full 2 days of double peak surfing and the UK’s only genuine beach bar The Watering Hole we think you’ll agree it has the perfect ingredients for a classic weekend . There are ample accommodation options in the surrounding area as well as plentiful local facilities. We cannot wait to see you all!
Entry is now open for this event and we are so amped to celebrate the Surf Club scene & showcase some exciting surfing. We invite clubs to submit teams with divisions of Open, Women and Junior. The format of the event is a points accumulation system (not traditional knock out). Champions will be crowned in each division and then overall Surf Club champions with the most combined Team points.
The event is a fun surf contest & is inclusive of families, adults, groms, & surfers at all levels. With the Watering Hole adjacent, there’s likely to be some evening entertainment on the Saturday night, with a complimentary korev lager for 18+ surfers.
We will also be running the highly anticipated korev lager Beach Flags!
Spectators and extended friends/family are all welcome to join the weekend. The contest site is all open to the public.
ENTRY INFORMATION:
- Entry is just £15 per person across all divisions (low rate for 2021 due to not running in 2020)

- Entry CLOSES on Monday 11th October at 10.00am.
- Pay your fees by Bank Transfer (details in form). Invoices will be raised for each Clubs records.
SURF CLUB AFFILIATON:
Club Affiliation to Surfing England is mandatory to enter this contest. Affiliation is on an annual basis and runs 1st April – 31st March each year.
Membership is just £50 per year if you are using the newly launched system to process joint memberships to your club and Surfing England. Alternatively, Clubs can join for £200 online here.

SURF CLUB INSURANCE:
As part of Affiliation to Surfing England, both membership options include insurance for all club activity, on a yearly basis. This means whenever you come together for surfs, related activity such as a BBQ, yoga, strength & conditioning session, etc. the club has cover should there be a claim made against a club. CAMPING SITES:
The nearest Caravan and Motorhome Club Sites are Treamble Valley and St Agnes Beacon. Surfing England Members save 10% on Caravan and Motorhome Club membership which gives incredible discounts at clubs sites all across UK and Europe.
