We’re super excited to announce the ‘A’ Team who are travelling to compete at the upcoming 2020 AmpSurf ISA World Para Surfing Championships, taking place in La Jolla, California on the 11th – 15th March 2020.
This event will see exceptional surfing talent on display as athletes travel from all over the world for a great week of competition.
The ISA World Para Surfing Championship was created to give surfers with physical challenges an opportunity to compete and display their talents in a Paralympic-style, world-class competition. The event has experienced unprecedented growth since the inaugural edition in 2015 and has spurred the growth of the sport around the world.
Surfing England supports Adaptive surfing in its entirety and has been a champion of this since the first English Adaptive Surfing Open in 2017.

- Sunday March 8th– La Jolla Shores Beach
- 3pm-4:30pm: Volunteer Training for new volunteers
- Monday, March 9 – Challenged Athletes Foundation (9591 Waples St, San Diego, CA 92121)
- 9am-5pm: Team Arrival and On-Site Registration Check-In
- 9am-5pm: On-site Classification Assessments
- Tuesday, March 10 – La Jolla Shores Beach
- 7am-8am: Volunteer Training
- 8am-12pm: AmpSurf ISA Adaptive Surf Clinic
- Tuesday, March 10 – Challenged Athletes Foundation (9591 Waples St, San Diego, CA 92121)
- 9am-3pm: Team Arrival and On-Site Registration Check-In (Closes at 3pm SHARP)
- 9am-5pm: On-site Classification Assessments
- 7pm-9pm: Manager’s Meeting – required for 2 people per team
- Wednesday, March 11 – La Jolla Shores Beach + Kellogg Park
- 9:30am-11:30am Parade of Nations and Opening Ceremonies
