Six of Britain’s best surfers have made their way to Japan for the 2019 ISA World Surfing Games.
The competition runs from Miyazaki, Japan and starts this Saturday 7th September. The team will be competing against some of the World’s top surfers including Kelly Slater, Gabriel Medina, Carissa Moore & Stephanie Gilmore. The surfers will be battling for those top spots and ranking points as part of their journey to surf at the 2020 Olympics.
The surfers competing for the British Surfing Team are:
WOMEN:
Peony Knight (England), Ellie Turner (England) & Kitty Brewer (Channel Islands)
MEN:
Jayce Robinson (England), Jay Quinn (Wales) & Nathan Elms (Channel Islands)
