We are immensely excited to launch our Kukuna Pro Junior — an electrifying new competition built to showcase the top under-21 surfers from all Nations across the British Isles.
The event will set the stage for prestige surfers to come together, compete, and push performance levels to new heights. This is more than just a contest — it’s a statement for the future surfing in the British Isles and uniformity across the Nations.
Divisions: U21 Open (Men’s) and Women’s

Backup Date: Wednesday 27th May
Location: Watergate Bay, Newquay
For the Nations of Scotland, Channel Islands, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland, we guarantee each NGB to secure a place for their top seeded surfer in the Open and Women’s. Our aspirations are to welcome as many surfers from outside of England as possible, but with a 1-day event, and a pilot, places are limited.

How the future could look:
Our ambitions are big; we are striving to set up connections with other Nations to run the series next year as part of a wider tour. We are hugely grateful for Kukuna for supporting the pilot event, and we are excited to offer opportunities for other brands to get involved and join our mission to grow a tour.
ENTRY INFORMATION
Entries will open on Monday 20th April at 19:00 via LIVEHEATS and close on Sunday 10th May at 23:55.
Entry cost: £45
Due to the high level of interest expected, entry does not guarantee a place, and all surfers will be waitlisted on registration. Each Nation from British Isles will be guaranteed their top seeded surfer in each division, alongside Team England surfers. Remaining spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Age restrictions:
- Surfers must be at least 15 years old* as of the 31st December 2026, and 21 or younger, as of the 31st December 2026.
*Team England retain one male and one female wildcard entry for exceptional u15 talent
