Event Dates Release (subject to funding) – Sponsorship Opportunities

The 2026 English National Longboard and SUP Championships and the English Interclub Surfing Championships are seeking Event sponsors.

These contests are entirely sponsorship dependent. With the right partners in place, they will continue to set the benchmark for elite Longboard and SUP performance in England, while also supporting grassroots competition and community spirit of surf clubs through the English Interclub Surfing Championships.

This is a tough call for us to release Event dates subject to funding, but this the reality as a National Governing Body. We hope to see action from the community and partners to make the Events a reality.

Event 1: Longboard & SUP English National Surfing Championships

As one of the most prestigious events on the national calendar, these championships define English national rankings. They attract the country’s leading Longboard and SUP athletes alongside the next generation of emerging talent — all competing for the ultimate honour of an English National Title.

With Team England selection implications and potential pathways to international competition, the event delivers world-class, high-performance surfing from the opening heats through to the finals. Featuring both Open and Under 18 divisions, the championships bring together a highly competitive field of experienced and aspiring athletes.

For English surfers, this represents the highest level of domestic competition — a chance to test themselves against the nation’s best, influence national rankings, and stake a claim for Team England selection. The stakes could not be higher.

For sponsors, this event offers a unique opportunity to align with excellence, national titles, and the future of English surfing.

Event 2: English Interclub Surfing Championships

The English Interclub Surfing Championships celebrate the heart of English surfing: its clubs. This iconic team-based competition brings together surf clubs from across the country to compete in a high-energy, community-driven contest that showcases both competitive spirit and club pride.

The championships attract clubs of all sizes, with surfers of every age group competing and travelling together. Clubs stay throughout the weekend to support and cheer on their teammates, creating an exceptional atmosphere and delivering sustained, on-site brand exposure.

For sponsors, this provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with a passionate, loyal surfing community — offering unrivalled visibility, authentic brand alignment, and meaningful connection with families, grassroots participants, and lifelong surfers alike.
