The wait is finally over – the 2025 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships are officially ON!
From Wednesday 29th – Friday 31st October, Newquay will come alive with incredible surfing action as the nation’s most talented English shortboarders hit the water. You won’t want to miss it! Spectators are encouraged to come down, soak up the atmosphere, and cheer on England’s best competitive surfers as they battle for national glory.
After waiting all year for the right conditions, the forecast has finally aligned — we’re looking at solid 3-foot-plus waves and an epic few days of competition ahead.
We’re keeping a close eye on the forecast, with some strong winds and larger swells possible later in the week, but we’ve got a great window to work with to ensure we crown the 2025 English National Champions in style.

What to Expect
The competition will feature the prestigious Men’s and Women’s Open divisions, along with intense junior showdowns in the U18 and U16 shortboard categories. With a big swell making its way in from the Atlantic, conditions are lining up for powerful waves.
Make sure you’re prepped for the conditions – double-check your gear for any issues with leashes, dings, or other potential hazards. Era Adventures will be on hand throughout the event as water safety, so if you need water assistance or first aid, please notify Era Adventures or contest officials right away.
