The most international edition of Eurokids put the finishing touch to the surfing championships held at the Spring Surfest Las Americas Pro 2024. After two long and intense days of competition, the youngest surfers were the stars of the show with the proclamation of the European champions in the U14 category.
The big star of the day was Carla Morera de la Vall, who defended her title of European champion won last year in Las Americas. The Spanish surfer thus closes a dream weeks in Arona; European U14 champion, Junior U16 champion, Junior U18 runner-up and semi-finalist in Las Americas Surf Pro Eurocup.
From the qualifiers came the victory of Francisco Anglani in the U14 category. The Italian surfer was proclaimed European U14 champion with total authority, winning four of the five heats he competed in and being the surfer with the best combinations of the championship.
Anglani’s was not the only Italian surfing victory in Tenerife. Daniele Mereu won the U12 men’s category, while in the U12 women’s category it was England’s Betsie Reay who took the victory. In the U10 category, Reef Johnson triumphed among the boys and Natalie Karbus won the women’s category.
