Surfing England is thrilled to announce our 2024 Volunteer Awards program, recognising the extraordinary individuals who champion our Oceans and surfing communities.
Open until Dec 2nd, these awards celebrate everyone from grassroots volunteers to dedicated surf club heroes.
The program features three distinct categories, each highlighting different aspects of Ocean and surf volunteering – from coastline protection to community building:
- Ocean Saver of the Year: Recognising exceptional commitment to coastline protection
- Surfing England Volunteer of the Year: Celebrating contributions to the national surfing network
- Surf Club Volunteer of the Year: Honouring local club heroes
“These awards recognise those who elevate our beloved sport and protect our oceans through fundraising, coaching, or campaigning,” says Ben Powis, CEO of Surfing England.
Individuals, groups, or even school classes can nominate. Successful nominees will be selected by a joint OceanSaver and Surfing England panel.
The winners of each category, plus their nominator, will receive prizes from Surfing England partners worth over £150!
Plus a unique, upcycled trophy.
