This weekend’s forecast is pumping, and we are stoked to call this weekend’s Rip Curl Grom Search UK stop ON, with the beach TBC.
After close monitoring of a fluctuating forecast over the past few days, the weekend’s surf conditions are shaping up with decent swell size and limited wind. We are still unsure on the suitability of Fistral for this competition, so location of the event is TBC. We are considering the beaches in Newquay’s Bay, please keep an eye on the WhatsApp group and social channels for updates.
This event will see over 100 of the UK’s best junior talent coming together on the 18th – 19th March to compete for the prestige Rip Curl titles.
The Event will run on LiveHeats (https://www.liveheats.com/events/93371 ), with live scores dropping throughout the weekend as surfers give it their all to maximise their wave scores. From Saturday morning the schedule will also show live, please note always subject to change at Contest Director’s discretion, conditions dependent, and safety is paramount with a decent swell showing for Saturday.

Trained Beach Lifeguards from ERA Adventures will be on hand to keep everyone safe in the water.
