Surf Coach and Surf Assistant vacancies-East Wittering

Fancy spending your summer down the beach, in the waves, sharing your love for surfing with others, and working with a team of likeminded coaches?

Natural Surf School is the only Surfing England accredited surf school in West Sussex, and we are looking for a qualified surf coach as well as surf assistants, to join our energetic and hardworking team! Whilst promoting and upholding the Natural Surf School ethos, brand and high quality sessions you will help teach surfing to students of all ages and abilities. You will be working alongside our Lead Surf Coaches, assisting them with the sessions.

Positions available:

Surf coach – £25 per 1.5hr Lesson

Surf Assistant – £15 per 1.5hr lesson

Surf coaches will help with the setup and pack down of lessons. Explain and demonstrate Natural Surf Schools proper surfing technique to students on land and in the water whilst ensuring their safety. Under the supervision of a lead surf coach. And most importantly, keeping the stoke alive!

You will also help run our children’s surf club sessions which involve surfing, surf related games, challenges and skills.

Surf Assistants will help with the setup and pack down of lessons, ensure the students safety. And under the supervision of a lead surf coach, help manage the surfers in and out of the water. And most importantly, keep the stoke alive!

Surf Coaches must hold a valid:

• ISA Level 1 or 2 surf coach qualification (you can also complete your 20hrs work experience with us if you have just completed your level 1 course)

• Beach Lifeguard qualification

Requirements:

• Be DBS Checked once hired,

• Available to work the summer season through till September (lessons will continue after this but September is the minimum required availability)

• Surf assistants must be aged 16yrs+

• You must be fit, healthy and enjoy being in the water in all types of weather conditions.
