We are pleased to release the draw for this weekend’s Rip Curl Gromsearch in Newquay, Cornwall.
>EVENT LOCATION: Due to the conditions forecast we will be making a decision by 5pm on Friday on the location for the event. Ideally it will be at Watergate Bay as planned, however we may need to relocate to Tolcarne Beach. This decision will be communicated via our social media channels.
The draw is SUBJECT TO CHANGE and all surfers are to check in at 08:15am Saturday (location TBC). We will be watching the forecast and seeing the waves on Saturday morning to then release a running order at check in.
The seeding for the event is based on the following:
- Individual surfer rankings following the first 2017 UK Rip Curl Gromsearch event at Croyde.
- If a surfer did not compete in that event then they are ranked at random.

Late entries are welcomed if space is available in a division – please email nick@surfingengland.org – entry is based on a first come first basis.
