Rip Curl Grom Search
The Rip Curl Grom Search is a prestigious surfing event tailored specifically for young surfers aged 16 and under, or ‘Groms’ as they are now more commonly known. The Rip Curl Grom Search series started as a one-day surfing event in the USA in 1999 and has now developed to a worldwide series of events.
The aim of the event is to offer Junior Surfers an opportunity to showcase their talent and claim a Rip Curl Grom Search title, and to bag a potential spot at a European Grom Search Final. Competition Divisions on offer are male and female Shortboard Under 16, Shortboard Under 14 and Shortboard Under 12.
