Our sport has never been bigger. But without brilliant surf coaches, we won’t be able to make the most of the opportunities opening up in surfing.  

These people aren’t just responsible for coaching the demanding technical aspects of surfing, but they’re also often the face of our sport. A friendly, motivational coach can be the difference between the start of a lifelong obsession with the waves, or a one-time-only trip to the beach that scares a potential grom off for life. 

We want to provide all surf professionals in our industry with an internationally recognised coaching and surf qualification pathway. We want them to be able to keep learning and growing their careers. 

It goes hand-in-hand with our new coaching framework that uses online resources, more qualifications and awards, and gives coaches and surf schools the support they need to keep improving.
