Full and part time surf coaches required for busy season June – November, with work also available the following year March – November.

We are The North Devon Surf School here in Westward Ho!

Our school is a Centre of Excellence and we pride ourselves on our staff, lessons, equipment and facilities.

We are currently looking for surf coaches who are fully qualified with an ISA level 1 or higher award, as well as a full beach lifeguard or surf coach safety and rescue award.

Candidates must have the following attributes:
Can work solo
Work as a team member
Be punctual, polite and present themselves well
DBS will be required

Duties include:
Private and group lessons
Working with school, youth groups and adult groups
Help maintain the general running of the surf school between lessons
Assisting in the shop and equipment hire (optional)

You will be paid per lesson on a self employed basis. Rate of pay will be based on your experience, this will be discussed upon application.

We offer junior and adult grom session to the local community throughout the season, work with primary, secondary and higher learning establishments as well as charity events on a regular basis.

Facilities also include: changing rooms, toilet, shower, surf shop, surf hire and all in a Covid safe environment.
