DESCRIPTION:U16s and U18s: 2026 English National Surfing Championships return to Fistral Beach \nWe are stoked to announce our return to Fistral Beach for the U16s an U18s English National titles on the Saturday 25th April. We return to the beach with our Headline partners Caravan and Motorhome Club. It’s going to be epic! \nLast Friday\, the crowd at Fistral Beach witnessed a spectacular showcase of elite surfing\, in phenomenal conditions. And the crowning of Fynn Gillespie\, Open (Men’s) and Belle Betteridge\, Women’s shortboard titles (full press release HERE). Due to a huge front hitting\, we could not continue with the U16s and U18s as originally planned. \nWe are now excited to confirm that these divisions will be completed as a one-day event\, scheduled for: \n📅 Date: Saturday 25th April\n🔁 Backup Date: Sunday 26th April\n📍 Location: Fistral Beach\, Newquay \nENTRY WILL RE-OPEN \nGreat news – there are still spaces available to compete! Entries for the U18 and U16 Shortboard divisions will reopen on Monday 13th April at 19:00 via LiveHeats and will close on Sunday 19th April at 23:55. \nAll surfers who had previously registered and been confirmed into the U18 and U16 divisions will retain their place and do not need to re-register. \nFull event info HERE

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to confirm that the Under 12 and Under 14 divisions of the 2026 English National Surfing Championships will take place on Thursday 29 October 2026 at The Wave. The Wave’s high-quality\, consistent conditions will provide the perfect stage for England’s top junior surfers to showcase their skills and compete for national titles. \nNew for the 2026 season\, entry into these junior divisions will operate under a qualification and wildcard-only entry system\, marking the introduction of a strengthened national pathway for England’s next generation of high-performance surfers. \nThis exciting development ensures that athletes competing for national titles have demonstrated the performance level\, consistency\, and competitive readiness required to surf at the highest domestic standard. \nA NEW PATHWAY FOR JUNIOR SURFING \nThe updated qualification framework has been designed to identify and reward athletes who consistently perform at the top of their age group\, while supporting long-term athlete development. \n📅 Date: Thursday 29th October 2026\n📍 Location: The Wave\, Bristol \nThis is a highly prestigious shortboard event on the English surfing calendar\, featuring qualified surfers in the divisions of: \n\nU14 Boys and Girls\nU12 Boys and Girls\n\nHOW TO QUALIFY \nThe Junior Surf Series (JSS) now forms a core part of the qualification pathway for the 2026 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships. \n\n50% of available places will be awarded through the Junior Surf Series\nAthletes who finish 1st or 2nd at any of the four JSS stops will automatically qualify\n50% of places will be allocated via Wildcard Entry selection\n\nWildcard entries will be awarded in line with published qualification criteria\, enabling the Selection Panel to recognise athletes meeting the required performance standards outside automatic qualification. \nFull Qualification\, Wildcard\, and Eligibility policies are available in the Policies and Resources section of the Surfing England website found HERE. \nThis enhanced qualification structure delivers a transparent\, performance-driven entry process\, ensuring the English National Surfing Championships continue to represent the pinnacle of junior competitive surfing in England.
