The 2023 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships are running in two halves this year. Event preparations for the 15th – 16th April Men’s and Women’s shortboard open are firmly underway – entry is open until Monday 10th April – all the info here.
The contest will continue in full swing on 12th – 14th May at its iconic home of Watergate Bay, Cornwall, where we have capacity for a full three days, double peak surfing competition. At this event shortboard surfers are invited to compete in their respective age-based category, so we expect a thriving junior and seniors’ scene. We also launch bodyboard divisions at this contest, the first time in many years that bodyboarders will have the opportunity to claim a prestigious English title.
We are elated to have the Caravan and Motorhome Club onboard as headline sponsor of both the events, the Club will be attending the contests and connecting to the surf community. At the May event in particular, there will be beach games, litter picking, and more activities on offer from the Club so get involved!
