Good luck to our Team England Stand Up Paddleboarding crew heading to Denmark this week for the 2022 EuroSUP Championships. The event kicks off this Saturday 27th August at the Danish surfing capital, Hvinde Sande.
The EuroSUP competition welcomes the top athletes from across 20 different European nations to compete in four separate SUP disciplines; surf, long distance, sprint and the technical race. This year has also opened the event up to juniors for the first time ever.
A strong team from England has been selected to compete across all 4 SUP disciplines. We are stoked for them to experience such an event and go for the top spots in European paddleboarding.
An action packed 9 day programme is in store, flexing around when conditions are optimum for the SUP surf event. Friday 2nd September and Saturday 3rd September will see the best competitors come together in two full days of finals to crown this year’s EuroSUP 2022 champions.
The event is being livestreamed, and you can follow along from the SupCity Denmark website: SupCityDenmark – European SUP Championship – EUROSUP 2022
