COACHING PATHWAY 

Following an extensive consultation last year and our review of surf coaching we are now cracking on with delivering the vision that came out of all those conversations.  We will be developing a series of Surfing England coaching awards and qualifications, modernising the approach to training surf coaches and providing far more opportunities for coaches to progress and diversify within surf coaching.   It will also allow more schools and senior coaches to be directly involved in the training of new coaches.  This is a three-year programme of activity and we’ll be working with the coaching community throughout the process. The first opportunity to get involved is right now, through our technical panel recruitment.

SURFING ENGLAND TECHNICAL PANEL

We are looking to recruit a panel of technical experts to help inform, steer and provide critical review as we develop the new coaching awards.  This is a great opportunity for those with deep technical knowledge of surfing and surf coaching to get involved and very practically help shape the future of surf coaching in England.  Positions on the board will be voluntary, but expenses will be covered.  Check out the advert here
