The 2 Minute Foundation is a registered charity that is devoted to cleaning up the planet 2 minutes at a time. Through campaigns launched on both social media and using direct action, we aim to empower, educate, inspire and enable individuals, groups and businesses to make small changes or take part in simple actions that will contribute to the planet’s wellbeing, as well as their own.
We are excited to be welcoming 2 Minute Foundation to join us on Saturday 12th June, during the 2021 Rip Curl Grom Search. Teaming up, in partnership with Rip Curl and Surfing England, 2 Minute Foundation will be offering beach cleans, environmental education and activities throughout the day. As surfers, ocean-lovers and beach-goers it’s incredibly important that we respect and look after our coastlines. Plastic pollution is a huge problem and the oceans and marine life need our help. It doesn’t take more than 2 minutes to make a big difference.
Visit The 2 Minute Foundation at the Rip Curl Grom Search for events, competitions (win Rip Curl goodies!) and to buy 2 Minute eco-products such as cups, bottles and litter picking gear. We’ll also be running beach cleans, answering any questions you may have and talking about how you can get involved in saving the planet, 2 minutes at a time.
