Caravan and Motorhome Club grow its partnership with Surfing England
Surfing England and the Caravan and Motorhome Club today announce the growth and development of their relationship which sees the Club maintain its fantastic support of the English Surfing community and its adventurous members.
The one-year agreement builds on the great relationship that started in 2014. In the time since then both organisations have grown and increased their service to their members. Whilst the waves of positivity and impact from their partnership are felt across their active communities.
The agreement sees the Caravan & Motorhome Club drive forward with Surfing England as it works in the support and development of Surfing England and commits to its strategy of ‘a healthy surfing community’. A strategy which the Club shares in, Brian Morgan, Head of Communications and Events states “Surfers are a community of adventurous souls, and the Club is here to welcome them and provide different accommodation options. Whether camping, caravanning or exploring in their campervans, we offer a choice of over 3,000 sites in the UK and in Europe, many near to awesome surfing beaches. Our site facilities will ensure surfers get a hot shower and somewhere to dry their wetsuits so they are ready to hit the waves the next day.”
The Club are supporting the Surfing England organisation as whole, whilst enjoying headline sponsorship of the 2018 Caravan and Motorhome Club English National Surfing Championships taking place in Cornwall this May. The support of Surfing’s not-for-profit National Governing Body also comes at a key time. “Surfing will feature for its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 so the years ahead are crucial as we guide our sport and our members and embrace the depth and culture of our community. The Club’s alignment with our vision and support to enable us to work for our sport is brilliant” said Nick Rees, Surfing England Operations Manager.
